The service

Stillframe takes pictures of web pages and camera streams you point it at, keeps pictures you send it, and serves the newest one from an address it gives you.

Your account

• Your account uses the email address PayPal gives us when you subscribe. Keep your API key to yourself: whoever has it can change your feeds.
• What happens under your account is your responsibility.

What you point it at

• Only point Stillframe at pages and cameras you are allowed to view, and only send pictures you are allowed to share.
• Do not use it to break the law, to load or attack someone else's site, to get around anyone's access controls, or to get around Stillframe's own limits.
• Stillframe refuses private-network addresses and some others on purpose. It may refuse more.

Your pictures

• The pictures and what is in them stay yours. You give us permission to store them and serve them from your feed's address, which is what the service is for.
• A feed's address is unlisted, not private: anyone who has it can see the picture. Give the feed a new address if one gets out.
• We take down pictures that break the law or these terms when we learn of them. Write to the address below.

Limits

Each plan has a number of feeds, a fastest refresh and an amount of storage. Refresh times are targets: when the service is busy a picture can be later than its schedule, and the dashboard shows by how much. We can change the limits, and we can suspend an account that abuses the service.

Payments

Payment is by PayPal subscription. The price and what it includes are shown before you pay, and you can cancel at any time from your Stillframe dashboard or from PayPal. See the refunds page.

No warranty

Stillframe is provided as it is. The sites and cameras it photographs are not ours and can change, block it or go away. Do not rely on it for anything where a late or missing picture could hurt someone. Our liability is limited to what you paid us in the last three months.

The try-out

The try-out on the home page will take one picture of any public web address a visitor gives it. We may refuse any address, and we may stop the try-out at any time. We keep the picture for 10 minutes and then delete it. If a picture should not be there, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.

If these terms change we will change the date at the top and, for paying customers, send an email before the change takes effect. Questions: [email protected].
