What we keep

Your email address, to sign you in and to write to you about your account.
Your feeds: their names, settings and addresses. A camera address can contain a user name and password; we keep it because we need it to fetch the camera, we never show it back in full, and we never write it to a log.
Pictures: the newest picture of each feed, a number of earlier ones set by your plan, and the last picture you sent to a push feed as you sent it, so a change of size or colour can be drawn again.
Logs of what the service did, for 30 days. They record the names of the sites a feed reached, not the full addresses.
Payments, when they start, are handled by PayPal. We keep the subscription's id and status, never card details.

No analytics, no advertising, no tracking. This site loads nothing from anyone else.
We do not sell or share your information, and we do not look at your pictures except to deal with a problem you report or a complaint about a picture.
Pictures you send are drawn again before they are served, so their hidden details (a phone photo's location, the device, comments) never leave Stillframe.

Deleting a feed deletes its pictures at once.
To close your account and delete everything, write to [email protected] from the address you signed up with.
Backups are kept for up to six months and then deleted, so deleted information leaves the backups as they age out.

If you use the try-out on the home page:

The address you paste is kept until the picture is taken, and then removed. The path and anything after it is never written to a log. The name of the site, and its network address, are written to our server's log of connections, as they are for every page we fetch.
We keep only a scrambled form of your own address, for an hour, to count how often you have asked. Nobody without access to our server can turn it back into your address.
The name of the site you asked about (not the rest of the address) is kept for a day, to count how often one site is asked for.
The picture is kept for 10 minutes and then deleted. Whoever holds its link can see it until then; the link is long and not listed anywhere.

Stillframe runs on a server in Chicago, USA, behind Cloudflare. Backups are kept on servers in the USA.
